Prima Ballerina

Hi everyone!
Tinchy here with my last LLC inspirational post for this year..
I'm sure you're way more organized as I am cos' I still have LOTS of things to do before Christmas and the time is running out..

I thought I would show you a non-Christmas project this time..
I just had to use a new stamp I got..

I've used some papers from the Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 Paper Pad..
The image is coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
The paper edges are distressed using a Tim Holtz tool and then inked..
I can't imagine my life without the Shabby Seam Binding anymore.. LOL!

Here are some of the gorgeous flowers Sandy stocks..
I've added some cheese cloth under them to add some texture..
The Prima Wooden Lock is fabulous, isn't it?

Here are some more flowers, pearls, the pin that I love and my favourite lace..
Of course I just had to add a key that opens the lock..
Looooove all the charms in the store.. You should check them out!
There are lots of other things I used for this card but you can find all the links to the products at the end of the post..

I think that's it..
Merry Christmas folks!!!!!
I'll see you in 2014..

Big hugs,

Christmas Peace

Hello lovely readers, Elin with you today.
How are you coming along with the Christmas preps? Can you find some time for crafting like I do? ;)
Since this is the last inspirational contribution from me for the year of 2013, I had to make a Christmas card to wish every single one of you a Merry Christmas!!!

I have had fun with Maja Design's Vintage Frost Basics collection this week, as I promised last week, and OMG!!! I looooove this Christmas collection, it's beyond gorgeous and has almost everything I want in a winter collection.
This Santa just screamed at me when I picked up the paper:
I have used corrugated card board as base for my card, and for once you get to see a 6x6 inch card from me :O Now that's something rather rare. I have used a piece of chipboard and decorated it with gesso, pearls and sweetheart blossoms. I wanted to keep the card a bit rustic:
As usual, some word strips are present. This time they say:
"We are sending thoughts and wishes with hopes and expectations for Christmas peace."
Please bear with my horrible translations, LOL.
Have you seen the new gorgeous wooden stars? They are my new favorite product in the LLC store, along with all the new gorgeous laces.
And now for the inside of the card:
The stamps used here are from K&G; they make the most beautiful Norwegian stamps. It's a shame they don't do them in English :S

As already mentioned, we in the LLC DT are taking a break now over the holidays, to enjoy time with family and friends. That does not mean that the crafting stops though; I'm sure some of us won't be able to stay away from our stash...hehe

Wishing you all a great Christmas and can't wait to see what 2014 got in store for us!!

Hugs & Kisses

My Birthday Card

Well this week LLC has left it wide open for us to create ANYTHING so I made a birthday card.  As much as I've been loving making Christmas cards, it was nice to be working with something different, well not different but different for this time of year.

I started with Maja Design's "Vintage Autumn Basics" and layered with a couple of doily's.  Seems like a perfect match for some shabby chicness don't ya think?

I added this Maya Road vintage wood birdcage and popped up a cute little lace bow at the top.  For the frame I backed it with some of the Autumn Basics paper and added an "hb" for the happy birthday sentiment.  OF COURSE I couldn't resist not dusting it with my new favorite new item GESSO!  LOVE THAT STUFF!

This sweet image is "Vintage Violet" from Saturated Canary.  In my bouquet on the left I used a newer die from Spellbinders simply called "Corner Fourish" and added some gorgeous Wild Orchid flowers also available now at LLC.

Well I suppose this is my last post before Christmas as we are taking a few weeks off so I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!!  Happy New Year as well!!
